Kimberly Lynn Hanson writes nature and myth-inspired atmospheric fantasy with dark twists and tragic romance. When not immersed in other worlds, she enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains with her husband and two furry children, wandering through misty forests and dipping her toes in crisp, alpine lakes. 

During the day, she works as a project manager and has worked in many inspiring (and challenging) settings including tech, finance, health-care, and even worked in film for a time. She holds English and Sign-Language degrees from The University of New Mexico where she grew up writing and taking pictures of rolling desert landscapes and gorgeous painted skies.
